TIG welding (Tungsten Inert Gas)
Tungsten electrode is used to heat the base metal and create a molten weld puddle.
By melting two pieces of metal together, an homogeneous weld can be created.
The tungsten and weld puddle are protected and cooled with an inert gas, typically argon plus hydrogen and helium mixes
Tig welding usually is used to achieve high quality weld seam by welding aluminium alloys and stainless steel
